As
an architect or engineer there is nothing more frustrating than
having to compromise a beautiful and well designed layout because
of the plumbing or venting limitations caused by conventional laundry
equipment.
Conventional vented dryers usually have to be located within 12
feet of an outside wall or connected to an expensive (and ugly)
central chase. A central chase adds cost, eats up space and severely
limits design flexibility, especially in high rise and mid-rise
construction. Ventless (ductless) dryers greatly expand design options.
Equally important ductless dryers require NO MAKE UP AIR.
Conventional dryers discharge over 10,000 cubic feet of air per
cycle. This air is taken directly from inside the residence and
must be replaced with outside air to maintain proper balance and
pressure. This increases HVAC loads and mandates larger fresh air
manifolds. Our ventless dryers save a tremendous amount of energy
and construction costs.
We also specialize in high efficiency front-loading washers. In
addition to being extremely energy efficient and using less than
half the water of conventional washers our products have a discharge
rate equal to or less than a dishwasher (6 gallons per minute compared
to over 20 gallons per minute for a conventional washer). This allows
you to spec in-unit laundry in projects with restricted drain capacity.
Our front-loaders also use a fraction of the soap which eliminates
big problems with suds zones.
All of this allows you to concentrate on creating great living
spaces instead of solving mechanical problems.
