In-unit laundry is the most demanded feature in apartments and
condominiums today! If you still have central laundry rooms
then you have a marketing problem.
Apartments and condominiums with in-unit laundry command a much
higher rent premium than similar units using central laundry rooms.
The combination of higher rental revenues, lower turnover rates
and low installation costs can pay for the machine in less than
two years!
Average resale values of individual condominiums are raised $3,000
to $7,000 with the addition of in-unit laundry. Cap rates
on rental units are similar. That's quite a return on the initial
investment!
The ASKO Professional series washers and dryers are as easy to
operate as pushing a button. Eight pre-set programs cover
any laundry care need you or your residents will ever have.
The smart push button controls also make use especially easy for
older residents or people with disabilities. An easy to read
digital display tells the user exactly which program the machine
is in, the temperature, and time of the program.
The
ASKO Professional series washer starts with a cold water pre-wash
that removes stains conventional washer hot water pre-washes set.
Then, unlike top loaders that attempt to clean by rubbing fabrics
against an agitator, The ASKO Professional series washer gently
lifts and drops laundry hundreds of times in and out of clean, hot
water to remove more soil while maintaining your fabrics.
And
heres another miracle of technology: while ordinary
washers get their water from your hot water heater or boiler (usually
set at around 120° F), the ASKO Professional washer uses an
internal heater that can heat water to a constant 140° F (depending
on program chosen). This hotter water actually helps to activate
the enzymes in detergents getting your clothes cleaner and eliminating
the need for bleach! With the ASKO, your residents get cleaner
clothes with just a fraction of the water and energy normal top
loaders use. The 140° F is also the minimum needed to
kill dust mites, bacteria, and viruses.
The ASKO Professional series washers also spin the water out of
clothes as high as 1200 RPM twice as fast as most domestic
top-loaders. This means ASKO washers can extract at least
40% more water than conventional front-loaders do. This means
a much quicker dry with less energy waste.
The ASKO Professional dryers are just as unique and advanced.
They use a microprocessor controlled heat and humidity sensors to
prevent over drying and reduce wrinkling. The exclusive Butterfly
Drying System tumbles clothes in a nonstop figure eight to
ensure even temperature distribution with less strain on the motor
and less wrinkling of delicate fabrics. This cuts ironing
time dramatically which always leads to happier residents!
The ASKO Professional dryer breaks technological barriers by allowing
vent free drying! This ability saves tremendous amounts of
energy, greatly reduces make-up air problems in older buildings,
and allows installation almost anywhere. This incredible technology
is also UL approved and complies with all BOCA code requirements.
The days of illegally venting conventional dryers into buckets or
attics are gone. Now you can safely add in-unit laundry almost
anywhere.
This unique drying process is possible because of a unique air to
air internal moisture condenser, which eliminates the need for all
outside venting. With this system room air is drawn one way
through the heat exchanger/condensing chamber while the hot moist
air inside the dryer drum is circulated the other way. Because
the room air is cooler than the dryer air a condensing action occurs.
The moisture is then collected and pumped down the same drain as
the washer.
The ASKO dryer's condenser drying system means that no outside venting
is required. There is no discharge of heat, lint, or moisture
into the apartment or condominium. Even more importantly,
the washer's water discharge rate is incredibly low. The rate
is the same as an average dishwasher, which means that installation
is possible even in older buildings with limited plumbing capacity.
The compact size also makes it possible to install anywhere there
is access to plumbing.
The ASKO quality name, large capacity, sanitizing hot wash,
ease of operation, and installation flexibility make the ASKO Professional
series a perfect fit for multi-family housing.
