Are they expensive?
A single pair costs $45.95, which includes shipping and tax.
Bulk purchases (10 pair) start at $36.95 per pair. Quantity
discounts are available.
What lengths do they come in?
Standard hoses are five foot. Seven footers are available
by special order.
Is there any difference between the red and blue?
No. The colors make installation easier, particularly on stacked
units.
Are they available in stores or from plumbing supply companies?
No. However, hoses can generally be shipped next day.
If it is covered by insurance, why should I worry?
Repeated claims create a loss history that can double premiums,
increase deductibles, and lead to cancellation of coverage.
This can be a major problem with condominiums because individual
homeowners are unaware of the cumulative effect until it is too
late.
Do I need Floodchek if we have a regular replacement program?
No. However, you may save money if you do. Aside from
the savings in labor, there is a problem with memory. If you
presently have a good preventative maintenance program, the most
cost effective procedure is to install Floodchek on all new machines.
