The LG front-loading washer and ventless (ductless) dryer combination
is simply the best built combination machine on the market. Unlike
some combinations it actually works! The LG washer/dryer offers
the convenience and simplicity of washing and drying a single unit
while giving the performance that even the most demanding resident
will appreciate.
First, a High Efficiency Washer Cleans Your Laundry
You are probably already familiar with how a conventional top loading,
"agitating" washer works. It submerges your clothes completely
in water while an agitator beats the clothes back and forth, loosening
soils. With the LG washer/dryer your laundry is loaded into the
machine from the front rather than the top. This front-loading design
uses 1/3 less water, half the electricity and only two tablespoons
of detergent to clean your clothes better! Your laundry tumbles
back and forth through the water as the wash tub rotates clockwise
then counterclockwise. This gentile repetitive motion ensures all
soil is removed from your clothing and is extremely gentle on fabrics.
With the LG washer/dryer, unlike conventional washers, you can even
choose extra rinses and washes that make sure all soap residue is
removed, making it possible to actually have a hypoallergenic wash
and truly clean clothes!
Next, a Ventless Dryer Finishes the Job
After the LG washer/dryer gently and quietly washes your clothes,
a high speed spin cycle, from 400 to 1200 rpm (the best range and
fastest spin in any combination), removes most of the moisture.
Once the spin cycle is completed, warm air is circulated in and
around your clothes. When this warm air picks up moisture from your
clothes, it is circulated into an insulated condensing chamber where
a fine, cool mist condenses all the moisture out. The condensate
is then pumped down the drain (there are no holding tanks or trays
like some condensing dryer!). The dry warm air is recirculated back
through your clothes and the process begins again. Your clothes
are clean and dry with no unpleasant dust or humidity entering your
home and with no heated or air-conditioned air exhausted outside!
The LG washer/dryer also has a unique feature usually found only
on very expensive full size European machines. You also have the
flexibility of a timed dry.
Simple and Cost-effective Installation
The LG's patented condenser drying system means that no outside
venting is required. There is no discharge of heat, lint, or moisture
into the apartment or condominium. Even more importantly, the LG
washer/dryer's water discharge rate is incredibly low (6 gallons
per minute). The rate is less than an average dishwasher (7 gallons
per minute), which means that installation is possible even in older
buildings with limited plumbing capacity. The compact size also
makes it possible to install anywhere there is access to plumbing.

Energy Conscious?
The LG uses less than 17 gallons of water for the entire
wash and dry. You use only one or two tablespoons of detergent per
load. The LG does not require any special wiring; all you need is
a 110 volt, 15-amp outlet.
Auto Dry, means you do not have to guess how long
to set the timer when drying clothes. It does not matter what type
of fabrics you are drying, the auto sensor will sense when the clothes
are dry.
Delayed Start, the most innovative feature built
into the LG combination washer/dryer, lets you wash and dry your
dirty laundry when you are not at home. You set the timer to start
the wash cycle you desire, and when you come home from work, shopping,
or just having fun, your clothes are washed, dried and in a tumble
